Obituary of Edward Harry Bayer

Edward Harry Bayer, US Navy, retired, 63, of West Columbia entered into rest Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Born in Boston, MA on March 20, 1950 he was the son of the late Harry Edwin Bayer and Myrtle Craig Bayer. Graveside services with full military honors will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 at 2pm at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC. Mr. Bayer proudly served his country in the US Navy. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Nancy Stone Bayer, daughters, Christina Snow of Eastover, Jennifer McVey of Hopkins, Melissa Bayer of Hyde Park, MA, Amanda Bayer of West Columbia, SC, Nicole Kuby of Lexington, SC, Stephanie Bayer of West Columbia, SC; son, Derrick Edward Bayer of West Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Keira, Tamara, Jamie, Hannah, and Craig, Jr Snow, Makayla, Abigail, Tyler and Brayden Kuby, Isaiah, and Payton Roe and Dillen McGill; numerous nieces and nephews
