Obituary of David Cooper

David Cooper, Jr, 89, of Gaston, SC entered into rest Saturday, March 15, 2014. Born in Monetta, SC on July 11, 1924 he was the son of the late David and Gladys Cooper. David played guitar and sang on the radio in his younger days and auditioned for The Grand Ole Opry. He worked for Reynolds Aluminum in Chicago for 20 years. Surviving to cherish his memory are his son, Brian Cooper; sisters, Doris Tatham and Iris Tatham and numerous nieces and nephews.
