Obituary of Della Jean Snipes

Della Jean Snipes 62, of Wagener South Carolina went on to be with Jesus on January 26th, 2014. She was the wife of the late Richard K. Snipes of Wagener SC. Born in Columbia SC on September 2, 1951 to the late Bessie May Cooper and Gene Cooper. She is survived by her Children whom she loved very much. Brenda Jean Cooper of Wagener, SC, Linda Reeves (Paul) of Gaston, SC, Larry E. Jackson Jr. of South Congaree, SC, Brian H. Jackson (Melissa) of South Congaree, SC, Brent F. Jackson of Sumter, SC. She was blessed with 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her only Sister whom she Loved dearly Lucille White (William) Of West Columbia, SC and a Brother, Gene Cooper of Columbia SC. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased in death by a brother, Esker Cooper. She was a loving Mother and Friend She loved Gardening and planting flowers. But more than anything she loved teaching Gods Word. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 7, 2014 at 3:00pm in the Mausoleum Chapel of Woodridge Funeral Home, 138 Corley Mill Road Lexington SC 29072.
