Obituary of Dino DiFiore

Dean "Dino" Joseph DiFiore, 61 of Columbia passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2013 after a lengthy and valliant fight with cancer. He was born in Chicago and moved to Sandy Springs, GA in1957. He attended North Springs High School where he played on the state championship football team. He attended the University of Georgia after high school where he spent the summers in Ocean City, MA. Loving the beach he moved to Hilton Head, SC in the late 70's. He later moved to Columbia and was the proprietor of Woodfield Barber Shop on Two Notch Road for the past 17 years. He is survived by two daughters, Ally McKenzie, 17 and Ashton Lee 14 of Columbia SC, his parents Al and Sally DiFiore of Sandy Springs, GA, brother Richard (Pat) of Marietta, GA, brother Glenn (Janis) of Charleston, SC, brother Jimmy (Lisa) of Canton, GA and brother Tom (Kristine) of Atlanta, GA and fourteen nieces and nephews.. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Woodridge Memorial Park the Lakeside Gazebo Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. If you have a favorite photograph of Dino that you would like to be displayed on the picture board, feel free to do so and retrieve it after visitation. In lieu of flowers you may contribute to a trust fund established for the education of his daughters at BB&T Bank, 291 Harbison Blvd. Columbia SC 29212.
