John will be missed by the research office of Richland One. Whether I was having a good or bad work day, when he came around, the day always became a good day. I will miss his humor...great man!

John was in the IT Department at Orangeburg Consolidated School District 5 when I was there as a business and technology teacher. He was always so pleasant and often gave my students some valuable advice about pursuing careers through education and having a positive attitude about life. John and I shared our life's experiences and our mutual feelings about our children. He always boasted about Darcy and how much she brightened his days! John left behind positive memories because of the type of person he was to others. He was cheerful, upbeat, and always willing to help others. May God give Darcy and his family peace in knowing he IS with Jesus now, and he will feel that joy for living even greater than we will ever know in this life. John will be missed.
