Obituary of Elizabeth Little

Elizabeth Ann Braden Little, known as "Honey", 86, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest, September 11, 2013. Born October 3, 1926, in New Kensington, PA, Honey was a daughter of the late Donald and Marie (Hawe) Braden. She was the wife of Gilbert L. Little, Sr., "Gib" for 67 years. A resident of Columbia until July, 2012, Honey had volunteered at Lexington Hospital for 27 years. Honey and Gib also had been active members of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church and the Columbia Country Club. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Debra A. Greenstein (Greenie) and her son, Gilbert, Jr (Nelson); 3 grandsons, Brad (Jen) Greenstein, Gibby (Rebecca) Little, and Matt (Carolina) Little, and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Braden and her sister, Catherine Meneely. Services for Honey will be private per her request. Woodridge Funeral Home is assisting the family.
