Obituary of Keith Aikens

CAMDEN—Keith Aikens passed away on May 26, 2013 in Camden, South Carolina. Keith was born on January 14, 1962 to Darevelyn (Inez) Aikens and to Freddie Aikens in Brooklyn, New York. Keith preceded in death by his father Freddie Aikens of Camden, South Carolina; grandparents, Ruth McFarland of Columbia, SC and Louis J. Moten, Brooklyn, NY. Keith survived his mother Darevelyn (Inez) Aikens of Columbia, SC; daughters, Latoya J. Aikens of Gulfport, MS. and Leonnie Aikens of Glendale, Arizona; one sister, Rhonda (James) Griffin of Gulfport, MS; one niece, Melody Monroe of Jackson, MS and one nephew, Jonathan Monroe of Gulfport, MS and a host of aunts, uncles, friends and family. A memorial service to celebrate Keith's life will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 11 A.M.in the Woodridge Memorial Park and Funeral Home Gazebo Chapel, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at a later date in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
