Obituary of Henry Hatchell

 Henry Hatchell – Gaston – A Celebration of Life service for Henry Hatchell, 33, of Gaston, will be held at a future date. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Henry Hatchell passed away March 22, 2020. Born in West Columbia, he was the son of Eddie Arnold Hatchell and Charlotte Frier Hatchell. Henry was a loving son, father, brother and nephew who will be missed deeply by all who knew him. Henry was an employee of Sonic, and he will also be missed by his work family. When he wasn’t at work, Henry enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and hanging out with his buddies. Henry had a wonderful sense of humor, and enjoyed making his friends and family laugh. He also had his “wild side”. He lived his life according to his rules, and although he wasn’t a perfect person, he worked hard to overcome his challenges. Henry deeply loved his daughter, Summer Faith, and he was her loving Daddy and father. She was his heart of hearts. His family now knows that Henry is at peace now, and is flying high and watching over them all.

Henry is survived by his parents; his daughter, Summer Faith Hatchell; sister, Amanda Christine Frier; nieces and nephews, J.J., Jamiah, Niechelle, Jaleigha; several loving aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as his many close friends in Charleston, SC, who will miss him dearly. He is also survived by a special friend, Amanda Hanners, and his beloved pets, Icey and Daisy. Henry was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Shirley Frier, maternal grandfather, Leroy Frier, paternal grandparents, Vera and Henry Hatchell.
