Obituary of Dianne Kirby Huffman
OBITUARY - Susan “Dianne” Kirby Huffman – Columbia – A Celebration of Life Service for Dianne “Mommom” Huffman, 73, of Columbia, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the Mausoleum Chapel of Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington. Pastor Dale Welden will officiate. Interment in Woodridge Memorial Park will follow the service. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service in the Mausoleum Chapel at Woodridge Memorial Park.
Dianne Huffman passed away December 22, 2019 at her home with her family at her side. Born in Union, SC, she was a daughter of the late Jefferson Jones Kirby, Jr, and Josie Mae Latham Kirby. Dianne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who enjoyed traveling and loved caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dianne was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, and a brave survivor of breast cancer. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Dianne is survived by her loving husband, Charles A Huffman; children, Mark Freeman (Tammy), Michael Huffman (Kelly), Lori Huffman and Patrick Huffman (Anna) all of West Columbia; grandchildren, Caylee Freeman, Joshua Garman (Stephanie), Robert Garman (Lauren), William Garman (Marina), Emilee, Madison and Foster Huffman, Jacob, Nathan and River Huffman; great-grandchildren, Jaydin, Cash, Anastin, Kendall, Jaxson and Skylar Garman; brother, J.D. Kirby (Nancy) of Gainesville, GA; nieces, Robin Kirby and Kristen Finlay.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 526, Dallas, TX 75244, or St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 6952 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29212.
