Obituary of Mack David Bonnett, Jr.

OBITUARY - Mack David “Lil’ Man” Bonnett, Jr. – Pelion – Services for Mack David Bonnett, Jr, 10, of Pelion, will be private. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mack D. Bonnett, Jr. passed away July 11, 2019. Born in West Columbia, he was the son of the late Mack David Bonnett and Amanda L. Bonnett. Lil’ Man was a rising 5th grade student at Pelion Elementary School, and enjoyed video games and riding his hover board and bicycle. He also enjoyed “snap-chatting” and pancakes. After his father’s passing earlier this year, Lil’ Man considered himself to be the “Man of the House”, and took care of his mother and sisters.  He was an adventurous young man who will be missed by all who knew him in his too-short time on Earth. He is now re-united with his Daddy in Heaven, and they are playing video games in the clouds.

“Lil’ Man” is survived by his loving mother of the home; 2 sisters, Patience Faith Bonnett and Layla Serenity Bonnett; paternal grandparents; Tawana and Jerome Bonnett; maternal grandfather, Haskell Jeffers; aunt, Teri Bonnett Dorman of Columbia; uncle, Toby Smith (Julie) of Newberry; cousins, Kaitlyn Grace James, Emma, Rachel, Rhett and Grant Smith, and Sophia and Matthew Simmons. Lil’ Man is also survived by his loving puppy, Lowkey Love Newman.  In addition to his father, Lil’ Man was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Cynthia Jeffers.
