Obituary of Ronald Scott Jenkins

Ronald Scott Jenkins, 55, of Lexington, passed away December 22, 2018. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family.

On December 21^st, 2018, our beloved Sgt. Ronald Scott Jenkins left this world, and joined the Heavenly Choir. He was preceded in death by his baby sister, Tamara Jenkins; his father, Donald Jenkins; his mother, Jean Jenkins; his brothers, Kevin Jenkins and Jeffrey Jenkins; nephew, Keith Jenkins, all gone Home much too soon.

Ron leaves behind his beloved wife and best friend of 31 years, Catherine Jenkins; his son, Richard Mickelsen; his daughters, Dawn Humphries and Elizabeth Keisler; grandchildren, Caleb Mickelsen, Joshua Mickelsen, Desarae Humphries, Destiny Humphries, Angels Humphries, Dalilah Humphries, Charles Humphries, Tim Keisler Jr., Thomas Keisler and Tehya Keisler; great-grandchildren, Blake and Addison. He also leaves behind extended family in Indiana and Washington. Ron will be forever missed, and his impact on our lives will be felt and remembered every day.

A memorial service, with US Army honors, for Mr. Jenkins will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229.
