Obituary of Collis R Kelly

Graveside funeral services for Collis “Ronnie” Kelly, 75, of Pelion, will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Woodridge Memorial Park in Lexington, with the Rev. David Spears officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:45 - 2:45 p.m. at Woodridge Funeral Home.  

Ronnie passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, at his home surrounded by family. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Collis Otto Kelly and Bessie Marie Knoche. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He will be deeply missed. He enjoyed traveling and being on the open road with his camper and friends. He also loved woodworking.  

Ronnie is survived by his daughters, Mandy Steele and Deni Kelly (Brian) both of Lexington; grandchildren, Madison Bearden (Chris), Cameron Steele, Laney Steele, Brayden Kelly, and Kinley Cross; a brother, Mike Kelly (Joyce); a stepbrother, David Knoche (Carol); sisters, Karen Johnson (Jerry), Brenda Scarborough (Bill), and Terry O’Neal (Phil); stepsisters, Lee Casey (Randy) and Pat Godley.  

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was predeceased by his loving wife, Catherine Howell Kelly. 

Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
