Obituary of Daniel Dickenson

Daniel Dickenson, formerly of Fredonia, NY, and a 1977 Fredonia High School graduate, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Daniel was born in Westfield, NY on October 7, 1958.

Dan retired from the Culinary Union in Las Vegas, NV, where he worked for over 25 years and relocated to Lexington, SC, where he had lived for the past 6 years. Dan was an avid sports fans, particularly for the Buffalo Bills, and enjoyed watching the WWE. He will always be remembered for his hearty sense of humor and infectious laugh.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra Lambert; sister, Wendy (Steve); two brothers, George (Tammiee) and Chris (Barb); three step-brothers, Michael Dickenson, Brian Lambert, and Tim Bogart; and four step-sisters, Jodie Perrington, Darcie Domes, Lisa Ardillo, and Tammy Miller-Korzeniewski. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Dan’s life will be held in Lexington, SC in October during football season.

Arrangements are being made by Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington, SC. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorials be made to the South Carolina Special Olympics, 109 Oak Park Drive, Irmo, SC 29063.
