Obituary of Ken Fuglestad

Kenneth Wayne “Ken” Fuglestad – Aiken – Memorial services for Ken Fuglestad, 82, of Aiken will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery at a future date. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements. Ken Fuglestad passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022. Born in Malden, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late John and Estelle Fuglestad. Ken served his country in the US Air Force, and while stationed in England, he met the love of his life in Oxfordshire, England, Fay Mary Simmons. Ken enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, and will be missed by all who knew him.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Fay Mary Fuglestad; sons, Gary Fuglestad of Florida; Raymond Fuglestad of Florida; daughters, Helen Crown (Keith) of Wostershire, England, Jane Tucker of Bedfordshire, England, son, Mark Glancy (Tracy) of Alabama, daughter, Claire Stilo of New Jersey; son, Philip Rooney (Colleen) of Lexington, SC; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Hanson of Illinois. In addition, Ken is survived by his beloved Chihuahua, “Tiny Tim”. Ken was predeceased by his parents.
