Naomi and I were closest in age of all the first cousins. So, as girls we hung out together when they came to North Carolina. She tried to teach me the art of crocheting, while Mildred taught my sister, Annie. As an adult, Naomi came to Cherry Hill, New Jersey for a church convention. It was great fun taking her to a Jersey diner and watching her face as she ordered sweet tea, only to have the waitress place a glass of iced tea in front of her and indicate that the sugar was on the table. LOL! Throughout the years, we talked, honestly, about everything that mattered to us. She will be forever in my heart.
Rest well, Cousin.
