Obituary of Albert John Leskoske, Jr.

OBITUARY – Albert John “Mr. Skip” Leskoske, Jr. – Lexington – A memorial service for Albert John Leskoske, Jr., of Lexington, will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, 1358 South Lake Drive, Lexington SC on Saturday, February 26th, 2022, at 12:00 noon. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Albert Leskoske passed away February 9, 2022. Born in Oil City, PA, he was a son of the late Albert John Leskoske and Mary Ellen Livesey Leskoske. 

Albert was predeceased by his loving wife, Joan Leskoske; brother, Philip Leskoske; son, Larry Haggerty; and grandson, Allan Singleton.  Albert was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Lexington, and carpentry was his passion.   He was a professional painter by vocation and a member of the International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades. He was also a life-long Pittsburgh Steelers football fan. Albert was a US Army veteran and served in the Korean War. 

Albert is survived by his children; sons, Stephen Leskoske (Julie) of Irmo, Greg Singleton of West Columbia; daughter, Debbie Sweigert of West Columbia; sister, Mary Ellen Waldron; grandchildren, Kristin, Olivia, Brian, Johnny, David, Lisa and many great-grandchildren.
