Obituary of Ronnie Allen Lott

OBITUARY – Ronnie Allen Lott – Bamberg – Memorial services for Ronnie Allen Lott, 53, of Cope, were held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Bamberg, SC. Pastor Ed Stiltz and Mr. Brian Brown officiated. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family.

Mr. Allen Lott passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018. Born in Bamberg, he was a son of the late Ronnie Lott and Wilma Britt Williams. Allen was an avid lover of all sports, most especially UNC Tarheels basketball, and college football. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Allen is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Melody Long Lott; sisters, Rhonda Wilson (Timmy) of Bamberg, Linda Williams (James) of Cordova, Jennifer Stillwell (Shane) of Trinity, NC, Mylinda Bowman  of Cope; brother, Huey Williams of Columbia; and a large and loving extended family who loved their  “Bubba”. Allen is also survived by his loving dogs, Chaps and Bojangles.

 The family would like to thank all of the nurses who cared for Allen; their tender loving care made all of the difference in the world. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, 97 Sanders Street, Bamberg, SC, 29003.
