Obituary of Raymond Harris Webster, Jr.

Ray was born in Smithville and raised in Springfield, Tennessee, where he was active in scouting and an Eagle Scout. He received degrees in mechanical and industrial engineering and engineering management from the University of Tennessee. His career in HVAC manufacturing took him and his family to several states, with his work culminating at Allied Air in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Harris Webster and son, Patrick Webster. He is survived by his mother, Faye Gibbs Webster; sister, Wenda Webster Fischer and her husband, Chuck; children, Raymond Harris Webster III "Trey" and Sarah Wilson, Robert John Webster "Rob" and wife, Shyane, Chastyn Simone Webster; and grandson, Bennett Patrick Webster.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church, Lexington, South Carolina at 2 p.m. Visitation will precede the service from 1 – 1:45 p.m.
