Obituary of Jean Traynham

Jean Traynham, 87, of Lexington, passed away on December 30, 2021.

Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Nance and Sally Nance.  She retired from the Department of Social Services in 1995 where she worked in Human Resources.

A couple of her hobbies were shopping, doll collecting and traveling.  She was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church.

Jean was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, James H. Traynham.  She is survived by her daughters, Barbera Turner (John), Lexington; Melissa McGee, Lexington; and grandchildren;  Jessica Johns (Blake); Steven Turner; Elizabeth Slaughter (Alex); Justin McGee (Molly) and great- grandchildren; Kane McGee; Charlotte Johns; Lincoln Slaughter and Crayton Slaughter.

A Graveside Service will be held for Jean Traynham on January 3rd, 2022 at1:00 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Rd. Columbia, SC 29209. Visitation will be held at Woodridge Funeral Home, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072 on January 3rd, 2022 from 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon.
