Obituary of James Adam Bowling

James Adam Bowling – Gaston – Services for James Adam Bowling, 64, of Gaston, will be private. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements. James Bowling passed away December 28, 2021. Born in Roanoke, VA, he was a son of the late James Otis Bowling and Rosalie Marie Dobbins Bowling. James enjoyed golf and bowling, and loved Gamecock football. James also enjoyed the company of his friends at Carolina Wings in Red Bank. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

James is survived by his son, Kris Bowling (Christy) of Gaston; daughter, Lindsay Hinson (David) of Bonneau, SC; grandsons, Hunter Brooks and Grayson Hinson; granddaughter, Jordan Bowling; sister, Debbie Lawrence of Roanoke, VA; nephew, Jason Lane; great-nieces, Kyra Lane, Bella Lane and Brooklyn Lane. In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his grandmother, Stella Dobbins; grandfather, Minter Dobbins and his beloved Beagle, Toby.  

The family would like to thank the doctors and medical staff of Prisma Health Baptist Medical Center for their attentive and loving care of him during his illness.
