Obituary of Jack Mason

Jack Mason – Graveside funeral services with US Army honors for Jack Mason, 84, of Forest Acres, will be held at 3:30 PM, Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 4600 Daniel Drive, Columbia, SC 29204. Pastor Julie Songer-Belman will officiate.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed. He served his country in the US Army, serving in the Korean Conflict.

Jack is survived by his children, 2 sons, Calvin (Wanda) and Mike (Deborah) Mason; and 1 daughter, Rena Mason (Allen); 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Juanita and Mabel Lee Mason and 1 brother, James Danny Mason.  In addition to his parents, Cayce and Ethel Lee Fleming Mason, Jack was predeceased by his first wife, Susie Lee Sims Mason; second wife, Elizabeth Price Mason; brother, Johnny Mason.
