Elizabeth Sunday
June 26, 1934 - November 8, 2021

Columbia, South Carolina - Elizabeth Carole Sunday loved to read. Throughout her life, she always had books around her. Her senior caption in her high school yearbook said, "she has read everything, even red hair."

There were a few things she loved as much as reading, and these were her Irish roots and her family. She gave everything to her family, never missing a beat to be helpful as a parent to her children, even when going through two radical mastectomies, the medicine that followed to cure her breast cancer, losing two houses to fire, and a hurricane.

Regardless, she was there, she was home to us. If you had a problem, it could always be fixed with some Irish Soda Bread and a Guinness. Elizabeth is survived by her four children, Carolyn, Patricia, Michael, and Thomas, and her six grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Daniel, Samuel, Mackenzie, and Kerrigan, and one great-grandchild, Lilly.E
