Obituary for Jamie Wayne Harmon

 

Jamie Wayne Harmon (J-Ho), 32, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away July 1, 2018 in Columbia. He was born on February 5, 1986 in Columbia, South Carolina to Randy Wayne Harmon and Angela (Rabon) Hartley.

 

He attended Airport High School and worked 14 years for McCrady Training Center at Fort Jackson.

 

Jamie was a loving and caring father. He was passionate about sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Carolina Gamecocks.

 

Jamie is survived by his parents, Randy Harmon and Angela Hartley; grandparents, Barbara and James Harmon of Columbia, and Roger Rabon of Georgia; daughter, Destiny Harmon; son, Jacob Harmon; half-sisters, Jennifer Harmon and Mandy Harmon; half-brothers, Steven Harmon, Jose Garcia, and Juan Garcia. Also survived by partner Alisha New, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

 

Jamie considered his grandpa (James) his buddy and his Memaw (Barbara) like his second Mother. He had a very special love for them.

 

He was preceded in death by a grandmother Patricia Rabon, and a half-brother Jose "Nunie" Garcia,
