Obituary of Curtis Ditch

Curtis Michael Ditch, 46, of West Columbia, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 17, 2018. Mr. Ditch was born May 28, 1972, in Anne Arundel, Maryland to the late James Herbert Ditch and Phyllis Naylor Ditch.

 

Curtis worked in construction where he could and would do anything that was asked of him. He loved NASCAR’s Jimmy Johnson #48, Miami Hurricanes and Dolphins and Carrie Underwood. He was a true example of kindness and caring. He loved everyone he came to know and everyone loved him. His children were his pride and joy.

 

Mr. Ditch is survived by his mother, Phyllis Ditch of Lexington, children, Amy Lynn and Taylor James “Little Sport”, former spouse and friend, Jennifer Collins Ditch, all of Lexington, brother, Damon (Judy) of West Columbia as well as nephews, Andrew and Matthew Ditch of West Columbia. He is also survived by all of his Ditch family in Pennsylvania as well as family that include many brothers/sisters, nieces/nephews and so many more special members of the Collins Family.

 

Mr. Ditch was preceded in death by his father, James Herbert Ditch.

 

A celebration of life service for Mr. Ditch will be held at 2 o’clock, Thursday, June 21st, at Grace Chapel, 663 Dixiana Road, West Columbia. Interment will follow in Woodridge Memorial Gardens of Lexington. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 o’clock.
