Obituary of Cowan Guy Lasley

Cowan Guy Lasley of Lexington, SC passed away August 25th, 2021. He was born November 8th, 1944 in Lebanon, VA. After graduating from Lebanon High School, he enlisted in the US Army. Upon completion of his service, he went on to work as a sales consultant for multiple food service equipment companies. He also carried a private pilot's license and often flew his own planes to client meetings.

Guy was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping, hiking, shooting, motorcycling, skiing, boating, and golf. He spent many years actively volunteering with the Boy Scouts and participating in various other community gatherings.

Family was always one of Guy's highest priorities, and he was extremely close to all of his relatives. His legacy will be one of kindness, wisdom, loyalty, patience, friendship, and care for all those who were fortunate enough to know him. He positively impacted the lives of everyone he met, and will be remembered as a friend and inspiration to all of his loved ones.

Guy is survived by his wife Amy (nee Papp) of 32 years, his children Susan, Angela, and Doug; his four grandchildren, and his many close friends.

A private memorial gathering will be announced at a later date.
