Obituary of Michael W. Rabon

LEXINGTON – Michael W. “Mike” Rabon – Services for Michael W. “Mike” Rabon, 57, of Lexington, will be private. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements. Mike Rabon passed away August 22, 2021. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Patricia Ann Rabon. Mike was a hard-working man who provided for his family, and enjoyed carpentry and building many different types of things. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, and adored playing with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mike is survived by his loving significant other of 17 years, Sherry Smith; son, Chad Rabon of South Carolina; loving step-daughter, Heather Joiner (Jeffery); loving grandchildren, Nicholas Joiner and Abigail Joiner. Mike was predeceased by his mother.

The family would like to thank the staff of the 8th floor at Prisma Health Baptist Medical Center for their compassionate care.
