Obituary of Jerome Carlos Kirks

On Saturday, July 24, 2021, Jerome Kirks, "Uncle Jerry", and most affectionately known as "Jer-Bear" to his beloved nieces & nephews, - went home to be with his loving and gracious Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.

He enjoyed men’s meeting at church, gospel music, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Alan Jackson, and anything he could tinker with. One of his favorite Bible verses was Psalm 32:8 “I will instruct you and show you the way to go: with my eye on you, I will give counsel.”

His sweet smile, his love for others, especially for his family and church family, will be greatly missed.

 He leaves behind his loving sister, Micki Rossodivita; his cousins, John and Bob Lougheed and families; beloved nieces and nephews,Tony & Christy of Columbia, SC, Gina & Mike Adair of Fort Worth, TX, La Donna & Daniel Selman of Lillington, NC, and Kristen (Kirks) & Philip Davis of Sherman, Tx.; his much loved great-nieces and nephews, Justin Sparks of Ft Worth, TX, Cody Sparks of Los Angeles, CA, Mikayla Sellers of Owensboro, KY, Derek & Autumn Grace Rossodivita of Columbia, SC,  Carter, Asher and Emma Selman of Lillington, NC, and Emerson & Levi Davis of Sherman, TX.
