Obituary of L. H. Fallaw

Graveside Services for L. H. Fallaw, Sr., 82, of Monetta, will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2011 in Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Woodridge Funeral Home Thursday from 3 to 4 p.m. prior to the service. Mr. Fallaw passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2011. Born on December 22, 1928, in Ridge Spring, SC, he was the son of the late Lonzo Fallaw and Katie Boatwright Fallaw. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Mr. Fallaw was veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps and was a retired truck driver. He was a member of Ridge Spring Baptist Church, Teamsters Local 509 and the Masonic Lodge of Ridge Spring. Mr. Fallaw is survived by a daughter, Linda Lamb of South Congaree; a son, ?L.H.? Fallaw, Jr. (wife, Mary Ann) of Lexington; two grandchildren, Luke H. Fallaw, III (wife, Sabrina) and Audrey Melissa Williams (fiancée, David Baroody); four step-grandchildren, Jeffrey Ellis Lamb (wife, Amanda), Tracy Michelle Lamb, Ryan Chancelor ?Chance? Lamb, and Brett Sterling Lamb; a great-granddaughter, Adalynne Fallaw; and a sister, Marjorie Eidson. He was predeceased by his parents; his beloved wife of 58 years, Virginia P. Fallaw; two brothers, Marco Fallaw and Danna Fallaw; two sisters, Louise Boatwright and Sudie Kirkland; and a son-in-law, Terry Lamb.
