Obituary of Walter Edward Johnson

Walter Edward "Eddie" Johnson Jr., 66, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011, in Heartland Care of Columbia. Mr. Johnson was born in Sumter, a son of the late Walter Edward Johnson Sr. and Leila Mae Phillips Johnson. A graveside memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2011, in Faith Lutheran Church Cemetery on Platt Springs Road, West Columbia. Mr. Johnson was survived by sisters, Karen Parker of Westland, MI, and Julia J. Gibson and her husband, Doug, of West Columbia; one nephew, two nieces, family and friends. Woodridge Funeral Home is serving the Johnson family.
