Obituary of Geraldine S Bone

Rhoda Geraldine Smith Bone, 85, of Irmo, SC died on August 29, 2012. Services for Mrs. Bone will be held Saturday, September 1st at 11 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 1330 Whippoorwill Drive, West Columbia, SC. Please assemble at church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Woodridge Memorial Park. Mrs. Bone, widow of Orson G. Bone, was born September 7, 1926 in Socastee, SC. She is a daughter of the late William Harry and Rhoda McCormick Smith. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting and was a long-time judge of handwork items at the SC State Fair. Mrs. Bone is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Connie and Thomas Settle of Acworth, GA and Pamela and Brent Koyle of Irmo, SC; son, Steven Bone of Irmo, SC; sister Elwood Marro of Socastee, SC; 4 sisters-in-law; 13 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren.
