Obituary of Parrish Scott Anthony Phillips

It is with great sadness that the family of Parrish Scott Anthony Phillips announces his untimely death on June 27th, 2021.  A resident of Lexington, South Carolina, Parrish was 49 years of age.  He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Sharon Russell Waller of Chapin, SC, his father, Rodney Joe Phillips and his wife Lesley, of Dripping Springs, Texas; his children Sydney and Joshua Phillips of Greer, SC, his brother Chad Waller of Lexington, SC, his sister Lori Wane of Lindome, Sweden and a host of family and friends who loved and cared about him.

 

Parrish was born on August 12, 1971 in East Point, Georgia and spent the first 16 years of his life in Georgia before moving to Irmo, SC in 1987.  A graduate of Irmo High School, Parrish developed a love of the great outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing and especially paddle boarding on Lake Murray with his faithful companion, Max, his service dog.

 

A memorial service is planned for 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the Lakeside Gazebo in Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, South Carolina 29072.
