Melody Neese Truss – Services for Melody Neese Truss, 59, of Columbia, will be private. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Melody Truss unexpectedly passed away at Lexington Medical Center May 12, 2021. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of Wendell and Francena Neese. Melody was a loving and giving daughter, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was always willing and able to lend a hand and assist friends and family alike. She enjoyed music, genealogy, shopping and family outings. She had a very strong faith, and believed in her loving God. She would want her family to remain strong and to be happy.

In addition to her parents, Melody is survived by her children; daughter, Toni Meetze; son, Daniel Meetze; daughter, Christy Truss; son, Joshuwa Truss; grandchildren, Madison, Cody, Dakota, Charity, Zachary, Isabella, Cecelia; great-grandchildren, Carolina, and a large and loving extended family. Melody is also survived by her loving dog, “Little Man”.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Amanda Faye Neese and Deborah Carter, and many other beloved family members.
