Obituary of Ronald Max Crosby

OBITUARY – Ronald M. Crosby – Irmo – A Homegoing service for Ronald M. Crosby, 86, of Irmo will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday May 17, 2021 at the Columbia First Church of the Nazarene, 901 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29210. Pastor Kyle Himmelwright will officiate. Burial with US Navy funeral honors will follow the service at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service in the foyer of the church. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ronald Crosby passed away May 10, 2021. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Charles Wesley Crosby and Clara Elizabeth Hearn Crosby. Ronald served his country in the US Navy, and was retired from Anchor Continental Industries after 35 years of service. He also worked at Providence Hospital Northeast.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Emma Lee Howard Crosby; son, Ricky Crosby (Patti); daughter, Rhonda K Leonhardt (Phillip); son, Timothy Roy Jenkins; daughter, Frances Lee Clarke (Tommy); son, Barry Dennis Jenkins; daughter, Rhonda K. Rimmer (Wayne); 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Ronald was predeceased by his brothers, Charles Wesley Crosby, Jr., Thomas Edward Crosby and William Carl Crosby.

The family would like to thank the staff of First Light Home Care and Prisma Health for their loving and attentive care of our loved one. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
