Obituary of Steve Kosmopoulos

OBITUARY – Steve Kosmopoulos – Irmo – Services for Steve Kosmopoulos, 54, of Irmo, will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Columbia Evangelical Church, 603 Augusta Street, West Columbia, SC 29169. Dr. Jed N. Snyder will officiate. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Steve Kosmopoulos passed away at his home March 1, 2021. Born in Charleston, he was the son of Jimmy Kosmopoulos and Judy MacFarland. Steve enjoyed camping in the mountains, hiking and salt water fishing. He loved diving, and had recently earned his Master SCUBA diver certification. He was cherished and loved by all who knew him. Steve had a great big teddy bear heart.

Steve is survived by his parents; a sister, Jennifer Sneddon; three aunts and one uncle; many cousins and a cherished best friend, Hamilton Kinard. Steve is also survived by his loving dog, Buddy.
