Les was a great neighbor and he and I hit it off right away. He had a great sense of humor and I really enjoyed talking to him and emailing back and forth about the neighborhood, as he was on the watch. He shared stories about his family, about whom he was so proud, and he and I both loved cameras. He showed me his camera collection, and I told him about the cameras I had. I was so sad to hear about Sallie, and now Les, too. I was blessed to meet his son, Les, Jr. My heartfelt condolences go out to all the family. Les will be sorely missed by me. He was a great friend and fine man. Deborah Murphy
