Obituary of Cheyenne Rose Wilkerson

Cheyenne Rose Wilkerson – Lexington - Services for Cheyenne Rose Wilkerson, 29, of Lexington, will be private. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Cheyenne Wilkerson passed away September 21, 2020. Born in Gwinnett County, GA, she was a daughter of Christina Pippin Wilkerson and Brian Wilkerson. Cheyenne was an amazing human being with a heart of gold. She had a passion for animals, and enjoyed storm spotting with her mother. She also enjoyed playing disc golf with her father. She told everyone that she met “Have a blessed day!”, and had a wonderful gift for working with children and infants. Cheyenne will be remembered for her beautiful smile, and her willingness to assist and help anyone at any time.

Cheyenne is survived by her parents, her siblings; sister, Antonina Tarbutton (Joshua), of Charlotte, NC; brother, William “Billy” Wilkerson (Jill) of Dacula, GA, sister, Stephanie Lowrey (Levi) of Dacula, GA; brother, Zachary Wilkerson (Kara) of West Columbia; sister, Sierra Wilkerson (Sean) of Lexington; Kaia Wilkerson of Commerce, GA; Cheyenne was an amazing aunt to her nieces and nephews: Alette, Boston, Violet, Evie, Noah, Rosington, Dawson, Elliott, Ace, Malachi, Gabriel, Emmie, Lochlan; maternal grandparents; Nickie and Tom Pippin of Flowery Branch, GA; paternal grandparents, Marilyn Allen and Dick Spiegler, and a large and loving extended family.  Cheyenne was predeceased by her maternal great-grandfather; Sherman Whitaker, and paternal grandfather; William “Bill” Wilkerson.

The family would like to thank the staff of Lexington Medical Center SICU for their attentive and loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a children’s charity, or animal rescue related charity; these were Cheyenne’s passions.
