Obituary of Bobra C Wright

OBITUARY – Bobra C. Wright – Columbia – Services for Bobra C. Wright, 75, of Columbia, will be private. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements. Ms. Bobra Wright passed away June 14, 2020 at her home with her family at her side. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Collins, Sr., and Arabell Morgan Collins. Bobra was educated in the City of Columbia public schools, and attended Booker T. Washington High School. She began her professional career working with Judge Harold Boulware with the Richland County Judicial System, and retired after 45 years of service from the Richland County Family Court.

Bobra is survived by her daughter, April D. Barber, of Elgin; grandson, Laquinn L. Landrum; sister, Gloria C. Morgan (Albert), of Columbia, and a large and loving family. In addition to her parents, Bobra was predeceased by her loving husband, Moses O. Newton; and her son, Errol D. Hall.

The family would like to thank Dr. Carlos Torres, Dr. Charles Butler and staff, the staff of Homestead Hospice and her personal care taker, Mrs. Charlette Leon, for their loving and attentive care.
