Obituary of Eddie Arnold Hatchell

OBITUARY – Eddie Arnold Hatchell – Services for Eddie Arnold Hatchell, 63, of Gaston, will be held at a later date. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Eddie Hatchell passed away at his residence April 9, 2020. Born in Sumter, SC, he was the son of the late Henry Hatchell and Vera Crowley Hatchell. Eddie was a free spirit who believed in living life by his own rules; he enjoyed playing pool on his computer, and riding his motorcycle. He loved his family and his pets, and will be dearly missed by them. Eddie was a giver, and would do anything for anyone in need.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Charlotte F. Hatchell; daughter, Amanda Frier; sister, Vera Healey (Dennis), of Middleton, ID; nephew, Dennis Healey, Jr.; nieces, Amanda and Samantha Healey. In addition to his parents, Eddie was recently predeceased by his son, Edward Henry Hatchell. He was also predeceased by a nephew, Alan Parker.
