OBITUARY – Catherine “Cathy” Rae Aska-Curtis – Columbia – Services for Catherine “Cathy” Rae Aska-Curtis, 62, of Columbia, will be private. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family.

Cathy Aska-Curtis passed away January 13, 2020 at her home with her family at her side. Born in Denver, Colorado, she was a daughter of the late Lorraine Wienshienk Aska.

Cathy was a caring and devoted Registered Nurse, a lover of all animals, and was a nationally ranked darts player. She met her beloved husband, Garry, while playing darts many years ago in Denver, and she maintained her competitive spirit in that sport, and in all aspects of her life. Cathy was a loving wife, sister and aunt who will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 200 Center Point Circle, #100, Columbia, SC 29210

Cathy is survived by her loving husband, Garry Curtis; sister, Nancy Hammer; and her in-law family in England.
