Obituary of Christopher Thomas Brasfield, Jr.

Christopher Thomas "Bubba" Brasfield, Jr.,15, of Swansea, South Carolina passed away June 27, 2019 at his home.   He was born on September 8, 2003 in Columbia, South Carolina to Christopher Brasfield, Sr.

Bubba loved playing video games and fishing.  He loved spending time and working with his dad.  Bubba enjoyed annoying his older sister, and was quite good at it!

Christopher is survived by his father, Christopher Thomas Brasfield Sr.; his step-mother, Amanda Bradley; his four sisters, Autumn, Amethyst, Cheyenne and Eluria; his grandfather, Thomas Brasfield; and a large caring family.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marsha Brasfield, who passed away three years ago; and his adopted grandmother, Mary Inabinet, who passed away two years ago.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Bubba on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 3pm at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 2349 Old State Road, Swansea, SC 29160. 

The family requests casual dress attire; no dark colors, please.

After the Celebration of Life, the family will hold a Scattering Ceremony at Bubba's favorite pond.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  There will also be a Reception provided by Mt. Zion United Methodist Church after the Celebration of Life and the Scattering Ceremony.  The family invites you to join them.  

Due to the unexpected passing of Bubba, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
