Bryan Cozart passed away June 18, 2019 in Charleston, SC. He was born in Augusta, GA, the son of Jack Cozart, Jr. of North Augusta, SC, and Tammy Efremoff Lucas of Lexington, SC. He always had a smile on his face with his beautiful dimples.
As young children, Bryan and his younger sister, Haylee, enjoyed dancing and play-acting for their parents. His mother recalls Bryan as a young child running around in the yard playing, and suddenly he would stop what he was doing, and come over to her and say” I love you, Mommy”, and then go back to playing. Bryan loved the beach; he lived in Charleston for several years, and loved living there. As an independent young man, he couldn’t wait until he got his driver’s license, and after that, you couldn’t keep him off the roads. Bryan also had a big heart, and would do whatever he could for anyone.
Bryan is survived by his father and mother; his step-father, Bill Lucas, Jr.; daughter, Abbie Cozart, brother, Justin Cozart; sisters, Haylee Aldrich (Joe) and Amanda Lucas; maternal grandmother, Joyce Hardy (Clayton), paternal grandmothers, Shirley Cozart and Penny Cozart; maternal grandfather, David Efremoff; three nieces and one nephew.
Bryan was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Jack Cozart, Sr.
