Obituary of Thomas J. Bayer

Thomas J. Bayer, also known as “T-Bear”, passed away May 3, 2019. Born in Plainfield, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Paul Francis and Margaret Kelly Bayer. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend who will be sincerely missed by all who knew him.

“T-Bear” leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 13 years, Belma Bayer; daughter, Deborah Brackeen (Brad), of Elkmont, AL; sisters, Karen Wray (Terry) of Stanley, NC, Paddy Hunt (Paul) of Moncks Corner, SC; many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, “T-Bear” was predeceased by his brother, Paul Francis Bayer, Jr.

A memorial service for “T-Bear” will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Westside Holiness Church, 527 Augusta Street, West Columbia, SC 29169. Brother Harold Chavis will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service in the church. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in the emergency room at Lexington Medical Center.
