Obituary of Sue Ann Drennan

Sue Ann Drennan – Funeral services for Sue Ann Drennan, 72, of Lexington, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Laurel Baptist Church, 2250 Pine Street, West Columbia. Pastor Steve Kittrell will officiate. Burial in the churchyard will follow the service. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family.

Sue Drennan passed away March 6, 2019. Born in Jacksonville, FL, she was a daughter of Lelia Mae Frye, and the late Robert R. Frye. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Sue spent her early years in Greenville, Ohio; and moved to Lexington County in 1975, where she raised her beloved son, Craig. Family was important to Sue; she loved her granddaughter Mikayla dearly, and was loved in return. Sue’s faith was also important to her; and she attended church at Laurel Baptist Church in West Columbia. Sue worked hard to provide for her family, and was admired by her co-workers and friends.

Sue is survived by her mother, Lelia Mae Frye; brother, Jack Frye of Lexington; granddaughter, Mikayla Frye; nephew, Tony Alexander; niece, Theresa Bruner. Sue is also survived by a large and loving extended family, and a host of friends. In addition to her father, Sue was predeceased by her son, Craig Frye; sister, Kathy L. Smith; brother, Bruce A. Frye.
