Obituary of Donald E. Marsh

OBIT – Donald E. Marsh – Lexington – A Celebration of Life service for Donald E. Marsh, 60, of Lexington, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 14, 2019 at the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Pastor Brett DeYoung will officiate. Burial in Woodridge Memorial Park will follow the service. The family will greet friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Thursday, prior to the service at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington.

Donald Marsh passed away February 10, 2019. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Richard J. Marsh, Sr. and Sandra H. Marsh. He was known for his great smile, and his love of music, motorcycles and sunshine.

Donald is survived by his brother, Richard “Rick” J. Marsh, Jr. of Lexington, sister, Tami Bradley (Jerry), of Lexington; nieces, Heather, Jordan and Emily Bradley. He is also survived by scores of friends in Florida, where he made his home for the past 30 years.  Donald was predeceased by his loving dog, Bingo.

The family is grateful for those friends who visited and cared for him, and the doctors and nurses whose care he was in while in Florida and South Carolina.
