Obituary of Eleanor Ruth Graczyk

Eleanor Ruth Graczyk, 91 of Columbia entered into eternal rest on December 29, 2018 at her residence.  Born April 6, 1927 in North Tonwanda, NY to the late Frank and Florence Pazych Graczyk, Sr.

Eleanor enjoyed traveling, gardening and golfing in her retirement.

Survivors include her beloved brother, Frank Graczyk and sister in law, Ruth; niece, Karen McClive (Duncan); nephews, Douglas Graczyk (Serena) and Robert Graczyk (Missy); great aunt to, Cameron, Courtney, Kristen, Chelsea and Dustin McClive, and also to Ryan, Evan, Preston, Brandon and Brooke Graczyk. Eleanor also leaves behind 12 great-great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses of Heart Strings Hospice, and especially her caregiver, Renee Ramos. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Eleanor’s memory to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia 2901 Colonial Drive, Columbia, SC 29203, or South Carolina Autism Society 806 12th Street, West Columbia, SC 29169.

Mass of Resurrection will be held on 10 AM Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church 120 Marydale Lane, Columbia, SC 29210, with burial to follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. Woodridge Memorial Park and Funeral Home is assisting the family.
