Obituary of William Brett Chavious

William Brett Chavious – Funeral services for William Brett Chavious, 45, of Irmo, will be private. Mr. Chavious passed away unexpectedly at his home. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Nancy and Bill Chavious. Brett worked in the family business, as well as electronics and computer technology. He was a truly gifted man and a Mensa candidate; a remarkable artist and musician who often created his own verse. Brett was an avid follower of politics and Gamecock athletics, and was a past Tae Kwon Do competitor.

With a big heart, he loved his family and cherished the joy that his nephew “Jeep”, brought him.

Brett is survived by his parents; brother, Jonathan Chavious (Christen); nephew, Jonathan “Jeep” Chavious, Jr.; paternal grandmother and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pets, Incorporated, 300 Orchard Drive, West Columbia, SC 29170, or the animal rescue charity of your choice.
