Obituary of Paul Gerald Romanoli

Paul Gerald Romanoli, 75, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away October 28, 2018 in Lexington.  He was born on July 14, 1943 in Shelby, Mississippi to Paul and Frances (Denley) Romanoli.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carolyn; sons, Joseph Romanoli (Melissa) and Paul Romanoli; grandchildren, Celeste Morvan, Elise Romanoli, Andrew Romanoli, Nicholas Romanoli and great grandchild, Kinleigh Morvan.

Family was the heart of Gerald and he truly lived life to the fullest through building family memories; fishing with his sons and grandsons, camping trips, and vacations with his granddaughters and great-granddaughter to Disney World. Throughout his life there is one place you could always count on Gerald to be, at the ballfield. He enjoyed nothing more than to watch his sons and grandsons play baseball. Watching them grow up to love the sport brought great joy to his life.

Gerald spent his entire career in the transportation industry, retiring from Southeasten Freight Lines in 2006.

A Mass of the Resurection will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2350 Augusta Highway, Lexington, South Carolina 29072 on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
