Obituary for Jo Ann  Strange

Jo Ann  Strange ,  85 , of Chapin, wife of the late Howard Strange of 68 years,  passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018. She was born on February 5, 1933  in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Lawrence Andrew and Carrie Silvers Sowers. Jo Ann loved tending to her flowers and spending time with family. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She  is survived by one daughter, Linda Sharpe (David), one brother, Frank Robert Sowers, one sister Rose Marie Koon, three grandchildren, Amanda Sharpe, Angela Peeples and Pamela Chapman (Kevin), five great- grandchildren, David Allen, Christopher, Meredith, Lindsay Anne and Wyatt and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM, Monday, October 1, 2018 at Woodridge Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Woodridge Memorial Park Gazebo. Burial will follow in Woodridge Memorial Park.
