Vonetta Martha Epperson, 85, of West Columbia, wife of the late Bernard Epperson Sr., passed away peacefully in her home, Friday, September 10, 2021. She was born on June 7, 1936 in Gilbert, SC to the late Rembert Sebastian Long and Eunice Marie Hyler.
She is survived by one son, Lee Epperson and his wife Virginia, two daughters, Pamela Epperson and Trika Epperson and one great grandson, RJ Brown.
In addition of her loving husband of 65 years, she was preceded in death by their son Bernard "Bernie" Epperson Jr.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Woodridge Memorial Park.
